As the world braces for challenging times of hunkering down, compulsive hand-washing and avoiding family and friends, it's difficult to re-imagine a new routine. First, it is important to remember we are all in this together! Second, part of our new routine should include engaging more in the arts. We take care of our health, so let's also take care of our souls, and nothing soothes the soul more than music!
NYNME will be posting selections of music by both emerging and acclaimed composers in our community. Feel free to explore, comment and share on social media.
Today's music recommendation is David Froom's HIDDEN MOTIVES (2018), an 11-minute quintet for flute, clarinet/bass clarinet, violin, cello and piano.
